Cargo marks

The purpose of the marking is a visual demonstration of the following mandatory requirements:

  1. each loading unit must follow a special path and reach the destination;
  2. the cargo unit has to be treated with care during storage, transportation, loading and unloading and unpacking;
  3. the cargo must be delivered in complete and preservation condition.

Correct, clear cargo marking is a prerequisite for rapid delivery retaining quality during transportation.

There are trademarks, sending markings, special and transport markings at present time. Trademarks, sending and special markings are applied by the shipper, transport markings - is applied by the carrier or his agent. Depending on the conditions of the sale contract, marking usually contains the following information:

  1. trademarks - the name of the goods, factory packaging, the order number and warrant, type, the time of release;
  2. sending markings - points of the departure and destination, the name of the senders and recipients, the total number of seats, gross and net weight;
  3. transport markings - the number of seats in the party, carried by one transport document, the serial number of cargo space in the party;
  4. special markings - warning labels and symbols prescribing the method of contacting with the product during storage, handling, transportation and usage.
